Each business included in this list has proven itself worthy of a strong recommendation. One of my pet peeves is running late.  I don't like to see guests waiting while napkins are still being folded or tables still being set.   Each of the venues below has repeatedly shown that they will be ready before guests arrive for events.

Hotel Baker
100 E. Main Street St. Charles, IL 60174
Phone: 630-584-2100
Voice Mail: 630-464-2100
The historic Hotel Baker has the most beautiful floor in the area, made from glass block and lit from underneath(in your choice of any two colors), it creates a visual effect not found anyplace else. A rose garden along the Fox River offers a lovely, private setting for a garden wedding ceremony. The Rainbow Room (photo below) offers a charming setting for ceremony or reception. The glass floor lights up in your choice of colors. In the summer weddings can be held in the rose garden along the Fox River.

The view from Prairie Land's only banquet room is of the Dupage Airport and Prairie Landing's golf course.
Because only one event is booked at a time, there's no need to worry about noise from other parties or privacy. There's a lovely spot on a knoll at the edge of the golf course for a wedding ceremony that offers a sweeping view of the course.
