Each

recommendation. One of my pet peeves is running late. I don't
like to see guests waiting while napkins are still being folded or
tables still being set. Each of the venues below has
repeatedly
shown that they will be ready before guests arrive for events.

The historic Hotel Baker has the most beautiful floor in the area, made
from glass block and lit from underneath(in your choice of any two
colors), it creates a visual effect you can't find anyplace else. A
rose
garden along the Fox River offers a lovely, private setting for a
garden wedding ceremony. The Rainbow Room (photos below)
offers a
charming setting for ceremony or reception. The glass floor lights up
in your choice of colors.
Ceremonies can be set up in the Rainbow Room or in the Rose Garden.
When lit, the floor is amazing.

charming house for cocktail hour and a new banquet

Meson Sabika has a wonderful new banquet hall that is as close to being
in a tent as you can get. The ceiling is draped in fabric and there are
windows all around. There's a private brick patio outside for serving
cocktails al fresco. Wedding are held on a large brick patio by a
lovely fountain. Set is is easy because the area is well defined and
level. There's plenty of parking and no chance that you'll share
the banquet space with another group.

and Prairie Landing's golf course.
Because only one event is booked at a time, there's no need to worry
about noise from other parties or privacy. There's a lovely spot on a
knoll at the edge of the golf course for a wedding ceremony that offers
a sweeping view of the course.
